Ultimate Doll Care & Maintenance Masterclass
A complete reference guide for preserving the beauty, elasticity, and mechanical integrity of your TPE and Silicone companion.
🧼 1. First Bath & Initial Hygiene Guidelines
When your companion first arrives at your doorstep, she has just completed a long journey from our sterile manufacturing studio. Giving her a gentle initial cleansing bath is the foundational step before handling or dressing.
Water Temperature & Solvents
Always use lukewarm water (30°C to 38°C / 86°F to 100°F). Never use boiling hot water, as extreme temperatures can soften TPE skin formulas or warp delicate facial features. Cleanse using a mild antibacterial body wash, specialized toy cleaner, or baby shampoo. Avoid harsh laundry detergents, acetone, or isopropyl alcohol on open skin surfaces.
Head & Neck Protection
Do not submerge the metallic neck joint directly in deep water. To clean the face, carefully detach the head from the M16 bolt or gently wipe facial contours using a damp microfiber cloth, taking extra care around hand-painted eyebrows and eyelashes.
✨ 2. The Powdering Ritual (Essential TPE Protection)
After bathing and thoroughly drying your doll with a soft microfiber towel, TPE skin naturally exhibits a slightly tacky or sticky texture. This occurs because TPE contains mineral oils that maintain lifelike skin elasticity and softness.
Always apply high-grade renewing talcum powder or food-grade cornstarch powder after every single bath once the skin is 100% dry. Use a large makeup powder puff or soft brush to evenly distribute a fine layer across the entire body, paying special attention to joint friction points (armpits, inner thighs, elbows, neck crease). This eliminates stickiness, restores a silky velvet-soft touch, and prevents lint or airborne dust from adhering.
🦴 3. Alloy Skeleton & Range of Motion Protocols
Your doll is engineered with a medical-grade articulating stainless steel and alloy skeleton designed to replicate natural human biomechanics and joint flexibility.
- Smooth Articulation: When posing limbs, bend joints smoothly and naturally. Never force a joint past its built-in gear stop. If you encounter resistance when bending an elbow, knee, or wrist, verify the joint alignment before applying further pressure.
- Storage & Posture Management: When storing your doll for periods exceeding 48 hours, ensure she is laid flat or placed in a relaxed, neutral posture with limbs extended. Leaving knees or elbows tightly bent at sharp angles for weeks can cause permanent tension creases or indentations in the surrounding elastomer.
🩹 4. Stain Removal & Minor Skin Repairs
Even with meticulous care, contact with unwashed dark fabrics (denim, black lace, red silk) may result in dye transfer onto porous TPE surfaces.
- Clothing Pre-Wash Rule: Always wash dark or vibrantly colored brand-new clothing in warm soapy water at least once before dressing your doll to lock in loose fabric dyes.
- TPE Stain Removal Procedure: For minor surface stains, apply specialized TPE stain removal cream (or 10% benzoyl peroxide acne cream) directly onto the stained spot using a cotton swab. Let it absorb under indirect sunlight or a UV lamp for 12 to 24 hours. Gently wipe clean with warm water and repeat the application until the dye pigments dissipate completely.
- Fixing Micro-Tears: For accidental small cuts or tears, use official TPE bonding repair glue. Cleanse the tear edges with rubbing alcohol, apply a tiny micro-drop of glue with a toothpick, press the edges firmly together for 60 seconds, and allow 24 hours for full molecular bonding.
